Bomber jackets, duster coats, oversized coats, duffle coats, gilets, leather jackets, denim jackets, swing coats, capes, parkas...and the list goes on and on.
It's not difficult to understand then, why deciding on one style and knowing which coat to invest in this Autumn/Winter is a difficult (and pricey) task.
I don't know about you guys, but my absolute favourite thing about Winter is a good ol' coat. They have the ability to transform any plain outfit and when chosen right, can make an otherwise basic outfit look so tailored and stylish. As I wear a lot of monochromatic tones (hence the blog name), my wardrobe staple is my black oversized Primark coat, as it goes with absolutely everything and looks effortlessly stylish. And by opting for black or grey, you're never in danger of colour clashing. I also love a good jacket, and have an embarrassingly large amount of leather jackets, 2 denim jackets and printed bomber jackets. Denim and leather jackets are perfect for a sunny weekend in London when you're not in danger of freezing your bum off, however England seems to have accelerated from Summer to full blown Winter weather conditions within a week, so I've had to dive straight into that coat wardrobe, leaving my jackets sadly behind.
I've composed this Coat Edit to showcase the best coats the high street has to offer this season and it certainly has not disappointed, with camel coats and oversized coats still dominating the high street and catwalk this Autumn/Winter. Let's get straight into it...
